deeds in that persons book of deeds and removes 90,000 years of bad deeds from that
persons book of deeds.

The Account of Yaum ul Qiyaamah (The Day of Judgment) Continued
People will approach the Ulamaa (Scholars) of the Deen and will plead: we had provided you water for your Wudoo at a certain time and some will say I gave you a clod for your Istinjaa (cleansing the private parts). Ulamaa will intercede even for them.
Aqeedah : Hisaab (Reckoning) is Haq (the truth). Deeds will have to be accounted for.
Aqeedah : Denier of Hisaab becomes
a Kaafir. There are some whose Hisaab will be taken privately and they will
be questioned: You did this? He will respond: Yes, my Lord; he
will eventually confess to all his sins and think he is doomed. The Lord of Mercy will
say: We hid your shortcomings in the world and forgive you today. Some will
be questioned sternly and each and every matter probed. The one questioned in that manner
will be destroyed. Some will be told: Did I not give you honor and made you a leader
and provided you horses and camels? He will also be reminded of other gifts. The
person will plead: Yes You bestowed all those favors upon me. Allaah
will then say: Did you think that you will meet Me? He
will respond: No. Allaah
will
say: The way you did not remember Me, I will also leave you with your
punishment. Some kuffaar when reminded about the favors bestowed and asked:
What did you do? will say: I believed in You and Your Messengers,
performed the salaat , fasted and paid the zakaah. More good deeds as far as
possible will be mentioned. Allaah
will
respond: 'Witnesses will be produced'. The person would be thinking to himself Who
will have witnessed my deeds? At that point his mouth will be sealed and his limbs
will be ordered to speak out. His thigh, hands, flesh, skin, bones all will bear witness:
This is what you did, this is what you did not do etc. etc. He will be thrown in the
Hell Fire.
Hadrat Sayyidinaa wa Maulaanaa Muhammad
the most
beloved of Allaah
has said: From
my Ummah, 70,000 will enter Paradise without any Hisaab (reckoning) and upon
the intercession of every one of them, each will take 70,000 more from the Ummah and
3 more groups with him. {The number within each jamaat (group)
is known to him
} The performers of Salaat ut Tahajjud will also enter Jannah
without any Hisaab.
Included in them will be a person who will have 99
registers of sins and each register will be as long as the eyes could see. They will be
opened and Allaah
will ask him:
You do not deny any of your doings do you? My angels Kiraaman Katibeen have
not wronged you have they? He will reply: No. Allaah
will then say: Do you have any excuse? The person will
say: No my Lord. Allaah
will
say: There is one good deed of yours in Our Court and Today you will not be
wronged. At this time a piece of paper on which will be written: Ashhadu al
laa ilaaha illAllaahu wa ashhadu anna Muhammadan Abduhoo wa Rasooluhoo
will be produced and the command will be given: Go. The person will
say: O my Lord what significance will this piece of paper have in the presence of my
registers of sins? Allaah
will say: You
will not be wronged. Then on one arm of the Balance his registers of sins will be
kept and the piece of paper on the other arm. The piece of paper will weigh heavier than
all the registers. There is no limit to the Mercy of the Lord of Mercy. His Grace when it
is directed towards anyone, would make even a small thing significant.
Aqeedah: On the Yaum ul Qiyaamah, everyone will be handed over their book of deeds. The pious will be given theirs in their right hands. The criminals, in their left hands. The Kaafirs chest will be torn open and his left hand pushed to his back through his chest and his book of deeds given to him in his left hand behind his back.
Aqeedah: That the Pond of Kauthar has
been conferred upon Hadrat Sayyidinaa wa Maulaanaa Muhammad
most beloved
of Allaah
is Haqq. The
length of the Pond is a traveling distance of one month. Along its shore are alcoves of
pearls. All the four corners are at right angles to each other. Its soil is wonderfully
perfumed of musk. Its water is whiter than milk and sweeter than honey and purer than
musk. Its utensils are more in number than the stars in the skies. Whoever drinks its
water, will never be thirsty again. Water through two pipes from Jannah flows into
it continuously, one pipe is of gold and the other of silver.
Aqeedah: The Meezaan (Balance) is Haqq (the Truth). On it will be weighed the good and the evil deeds of the people. Unlike the balances of the world, the heavier load makes it go up. Hence if the good deeds are heavier, that arm of the Balance will go up.
Aqeedah: Hadrat Sayyidinaa wa Maulaanaa
Muhammad
the most beloved of Allaah
will be honored by Allaah
by bestowing
upon him
the Maqaam ul Mahmood. All the Awwaleen and the Aakhireen (The
ones who came before and after) will praise him
.
Aqeedah: A flag called "Lawaa
al Ahmad" will be conferred upon Hadrat Sayyidinaa wa Maulaanaa Muhammad
the most
beloved of Allaah
. All the mumineen
from Aadam
till the last will be under this flag. Extracts
have been taken from "Bahaar e Shareeat" by Hadrat Maulaanaa
Amjad Alee (Rahmatullaah Alaih) To be continued InshaAllaah
Taalaa.

lifetime, Allaah Taalaa forgives all his past and future sins, though they may be as

has committed the crime of running away from the battle field. Kanzul Amaal.

VIRTUES OF PURIFICATION (Tazkiatun Nafs) Continued
At Taubatu wal Astaghfaar
My beloved soul mates, InshaAllaah Taalaa by
now you will have recognized the importance of Taubah and Astaghfaar in the quest
to purify ourselves. Simply put: Every time a sin is committed the heart acquires the rust
of impurity. The only remedy to clean and shine and polish this heart is to turn to The
Most Profoundly Merciful Forgiver, Allaah The Gafoorur Raheem and get our
sins forgiven. Then in order to keep it pure, at least the major sins must be avoided. May
Allaah
help us all with the
purity of our hearts because He says in the Quraan : "Qad Aflaha Man Zakkaahaa" Translation: Truly he succeeds that purifies
it (The self). Success here obviously
means attaining salvation and Paradise. My beloved jewels of my eyes, Allaah
then goes on to say in the next Aayah: "Wa Qad Khaaba Man Dassaahaa". Translation: And he fails that
corrupts it! (The self). And failing obviously means to end up in the Fire of Hell. May the Lord of
Mercy protect us all from this terrible doom. Aameen and Aameen again.
Soorah 91 Aayahs 9 & 10
My beloved soul mates, there is no mercy greater than the
Mercy of Allaah ar Raheem and no human more merciful than the most beloved of Allaah,
Hadrat Sayyidinaa wa Maulaanaa Muhammad
,
the Rahmatul lil Aalameen (Mercy to the worlds). In the following, we shall see
how much hope, promises and encouragement is given to those of us who struggle hard and
sincerely to purify ourselves and attain His Honored and Exalted Pleasure:
Hadeeth Shareef: Hadrat Anas
narrated that Hadrat Sayyidinaa wa Maulaanaa Muhammad
the most beloved of Allaah
said: " Every human being commits mistakes and errors and sins and
the best of sinners is the one who does Taubah". Tirmidzee, Ibn Maajah.
Hadeeth Shareef: Hadrat Ibn Abbaas
narrated that Hadrat Sayyidinaa wa Maulaanaa Muhammad
the most
beloved of Allaah
said: "The
person who makes for himself Istaghfaar compulsory, Allaah
shows him ways out of every constriction (deequn) and gives him
freedom from every sadness and misfortune and gives him Rizq (provision) form places he
could not even imagine. Ahmad, Aboo Dawood, Ibn Maajah".
My dearest soul mates, how much love, compassion, hope and encouragement has been given to us, all of us being sinners and especially the most sinful of you all, this pinch of dust from under the feet of my Shaikh Hadrat Abu Anees Muhammad Barkat Ali, QaddasAllaahu Taalaa Sirrahul Azeez! May I humbly suggest some Istaghfaar recitations which can be recited abundantly to InshaAllaah Taalaa qualify as Taaibeen and Tawwaabeen (the penitent ones), as mentioned in the above Hadeeth Shareef and receive the virtues promised in it. May Allaah Al Gafoor ur Raheem have mercy upon us all Ameen and accept in His Infinite and Benignant Compassion, our penitence, Aameen.
" Astaghfirullaahal Azeem al Ladzee Laa ilaaha illaa huwal Hayyul Qayyoomu wa Atoobu ilaih"
"Astaghfirullaaha Rabbee min Kulli Zambiun wa Atoobu ilaih"
"Allaahummaghfir warham Tajaawaz Ammaa Talam Fa Innaka Azeez ul Aazam"
Let us continue:
Hadeeth Shareef: Hadrat Aboo Saeed
narrated that Hadrat Sayyidinaa wa Maulaanaa Muhammad
the
most beloved of Allaah
said: "The
Shaitaan told Allaah
I swear by
Your Honor O my Lord, that I will always misguide your slaves as long as their souls are
in their bodies. Allaah
said: And I
swear by My Majesty and My Exaltedness that as long as My slaves keep seeking My
forgiveness, I will always keep on forgiving them ". Ahmad.
My beloved readers, can there be anyone who loves us more
than our Beloved Creator? Can there be any one who could be more protective than the
Greatest Protector? "Allaahu Khairan Haafizan" (Allaah is the Best of
Protectors). Can there be anyone who cherishes us more than our Lord of the Universe?
This is why jewels of my eyes, there is NO ONE worthy of worship but Allaah
may my life and that
of my entire family be sacrificed for Him over and over again: There is none like unto
Him, may He be praised and Glorified forever and ever.
The following is another gem of Hadeeth; study it and ask yourself how is it possible not to love and obey and worship This Magnificent Lord of the Universe Whose Compassion and Mercy and Love for us Knows no bounds!
Hadeeth Shareef: Hadrat Haarith bin Suwaid
narrated that Hadrat
Abdullaah bin Masood
presented 2 Ahaadeeth to us one from Hadrat Sayyidinaa Maulaanaa
Muhammad
and one from himself. He said: A mumin looks at his sins as if he is
sitting below a mountain and is fearful that the mountain may fall down upon him. And a
rebellious and evil person looks at his sins as if they are like a fly around his nose so
that he waves his hand and makes it fly away. After this Hadrat Abdullaah bin
Masood
narrated: I heard Hadrat Sayyidinaa wa
Maulaanaa Muhammad
the most beloved of Allaah
say: Allaah Tabaarak wa Taalaa becomes very pleased with the
Taubah of His mumin slave, more happy than the person who is traveling in a terrible
jungle without water and grass and he is on an animal, and he also has food and water upon
the animal and lies down at one place and sleeps for a while and then wakes up to find
that his animal has disappeared and starts his search for it and after all the hardships
ordained by Allaah
. befall him such
as extreme heat, thirst etc. etc. he decides to go back to where he lost his animal and
lie down and sleep till he meets his death; thus he lies down with his head on his arm
awaiting death; and when he wakes up again sees his animal near him and on it his food and
water; the Pleasure and Happiness that Allaah
feels
at the Taubah of His mumin slave is more than the pleasure and happiness of this person at
finding his food and water. As Saheeh Muslim.
My beloved jewels of my eyes, what a touching and moving
account of the Love and Mercy of the Lord whose Mercy really has no bounds. Who would not
feel like prostrating to Him
for eternity in His
devout worship? All we need is an overwhelming sincerity toward Our Most Compassionate
Creator for the Love He showers upon His sincere slaves who strive towards purification.
Opposite of this is the hypocrisy most of us show in our relationship with the One and
Only and the Master of the Day of Judgment, may I be sacrificed a million times for Him.
My beloved readers please ponder with utmost tenderness, upon the following part of the Aayah 222, from Soorah 2:-
Transliteration: InnAllaaha Yuhibbut Tawwaabeena wa Yuhibbul Mutatahhireen
Translation: Indeed Allaah loves those who do Taubah (turn to Him constantly) and He loves those who keep themselves pure and clean.
The Major Sins
A leaders deceiving his people and being unjust to them.
Hadeeth Shareef: Hadrat Sayyidinaa wa
Maulaanaa Muhammad
has said: "Whoever deceives is not from us." Muslim
Hadeeth Shareef: Hadrat Sayyidinaa wa
Maulaanaa Muhammad
has said: " Each one of you is a shepherd and is responsible
for his flock" Bukhaaree and Muslim
Hadeeth Shareef: Hadrat Sayyidinaa wa
Maulaanaa Muhammad
has said: " Any one who deceived his people will be in the
Fire."
Hadeeth Shareef: Hadrat Sayyidinaa wa
Maulaanaa Muhammad
has said: "If Allaah
makes someone responsible over a people and he does not deal with them
with sincerity, Allaah
will prohibit him
the Paradise."
Hadeeth Shareef: Hadrat Sayyidinaa wa
Maulaanaa Muhammad
has said: " Woe to the princes, woe to the guardians! On the
Day of Judgment, people will wish that they were tied with their forelocks to the
constellation, that they were swinging between Heaven and earth, and that they had never
exercised any rule. Ahmad.
Note from this pinch of dust from under the feet of his
Shaikh Rahmatullaah Alaih: It appears that they would be so terrified of their
punishment that they would want to avoid their account from being scrutinized by Allaah,
the Owner of the Day of Judgment at all cost! Of course Allaah
and His beloved
know best.
Hadeeth Shareef: Hadrat Sayyidinaa wa
Maulaanaa Muhammad
has said: " There is not a leader of 10 people who will not
be brought forth on the Day of Judgment, without his hands being bound to his neck, and
either his justice will free him or his injustice will destroy him.
Hadeeth Shareef: Hadrat Sayyidinaa wa
Maulaanaa Muhammad
has said: " You seek power, but it will be a cause for
regret on the Day of Judgment." Bukhaaree
Hadeeth Shareef: Hadrat Sayyidinaa wa
Maulaanaa Muhammad
has said: "By Allaah
I will not appoint to a post anyone who asks for it or who is eager to get
it." Bukhaaree
Note: My beloved soul mates, who in their
right mind would want to fight elections or play politics to become presidents, office
holders or aspire for positions of power even in our Islaamic centers, after reading the
above Ahaadeeth Shareef when Service of Allaah
can be performed remaining simple, ordinary and common members of our
communities?
Hadeeth Shareef: Hadrat Sayyidinaa wa
Maulaanaa Muhammad
has said: "On the Day of Judgment, a time will come for the
Judge of a court when he will wish that he had not judged between two people, even
concerning (so much as) a piece of fruit."
Hadeeth Shareef: Hadrat Sayyidinaa wa
Maulaanaa Muhammad
in his supplication said: "O Allaah, if any who is in charge
of something in this Ummah is kind to them, may You be kind to him; if anyone is
compassionate to them, may You be compassionate to
him! " Muslim and Nisaai.
Hadeeth Shareef: Hadrat Sayyidinaa wa
Maulaanaa Muhammad
has said: "If Allaah
appoints someone as manager of Muslims affairs and he removes their
needs, their miseries, and their poverty, Allaah
will
remove his need, his misery, and his poverty." Aboo Dawood and Tirmidhee.
My beloved jewels of my eyes, let us make duaa that
may Allaah
protect us all from
the Major sins and award us all with a fine and hyper sensitive awareness of the pride
that we are better than others, that we deserve high positions, ambition, desire for
power, lurking within all of us, and that we all become recipients of His Divine Love and
Pleasure by reciting Astaghfaar in abundance, Aameen. Aameen again.

Sunnah and Aadaab of Eating Continued
My beloved readers of the Ummah (Followers) of the
most beloved of Allaah
Hadrat Sayyidinaa
wa Maulaanaa Muhammad
, have you given thought to the fact that the word Ummah means
followers and there is only one way we can be from his
Ummah and
that is by following his Sunnah simply because following him
means
following his Sunnah and nothing else! So, jewels of my eyes how can we be his
Ummah
when we do not follow him?
May Allaah
give
this simple understanding to all of us: we cannot be muslims without professing to the 7
tenets and beliefs (Eemaan) and then putting those beliefs into practice. Putting
the beliefs into practice is called Islaam; Islaam can only be practiced as shown
by the Rasoolallaah
and these practices are nothing else but the Sunnah of
the Rasoolallaah
. Islaam is the Deen given to us by Allaah
and Deen means a way of life not a religion. The Deen ul
Islaam provides Divine Guidance in each and every aspect of our life not only Salaat,
Sayaam, Zakaah and Hajj.
Hence, in order to practice Islaam, it is not enough
to follow the Sunnah only in the above 4 areas of ritual worship; it is incumbent
upon every one of us from the Ummah of the Rasoolallaah
to
follow his Sunnah in all aspects of our lives.
Let us continue with the blessed Aadaab of Hadrat
Sayyidinaa wa Maulaanaa Muhammad
of eating, so that we can
enrich our life here and receive the Pleasure of Allaah
in the Eternal life.
Hikaayah (Narrative): At one time Hadrat
Sayyadunaa Abdullaah bin Umar
saw a piece of bread lying around and told his
slave to clean it and keep it. In the evening at the time of Iftaar, he asked the slave
for it and was told, that his slave had eaten it. He told his slave: I have given
you freedom; I heard my Master Hadrat Sayyidinaa wa Maulaanaa Muhammad
say
that anyone who picks up a piece of bread and eats it, Allaah
gives him Maghfirah even before it reaches his stomach; how can I
keep a person as my slave when he has been given his Maghfirah. Tambeehul Ghaafileen
My beloved readers, what wonderful attachment and
veneration was shown by the Sahaabah Kiraam (The honorable companions) may Allaah
be pleased with them
all, towards the Sunnah of their Master, Hadrat Sayyidinaa wa Maulaanaa Muhammad
. Jewels of my eyes, in order to be truly on the Straight Path (Siraatal
Mustaqeem), we must read, find out and know how meticulously, devotedly and lovingly
the honorable companions, may Allaah
be
pleased with them all, followed the blessed footsteps, in the most minute detail, of their
and our Master, the most beloved of Allaah
,
the Rasoolallaah
. That should be the clue for our Ittebaa of the
blessed Sunnah in our own lives.
Hadeeth Shareef: Hadrat Jaabir
said that Hadrat
Sayyidinaa wa Maulaanaa Muhammad
commanded the licking of the
fingers and the eating utensils (after finishing the meal) and said: you do not know which
part of your food contains the Barakah. Muslim
Hadeeth Shareef: It is the saying of
Hadrat Sayyidinaa wa Maulaanaa Muhammad
that the one who licks his
plate and his fingers (after eating), Allaah
keeps
him contented in the Dunyaa as well as the Aakhirah. Nuzhatul Majaalis
Hadeeth Shareef: Hadrat Nubaishah
has narrated that
Hadrat Sayyidinaa wa Maulaanaa Muhammad
said: "Any one who
licks the eating utensil after eating, that utensil will seek Astaghfaar for him. Ibn
Maajah
An amazing and touching Hadeeth Shareef: Hadrat
Sayyidinaa wa Maulaanaa Muhammad
has said: "To lick a
bowl (after eating) is dearer to me than to give that bowl full of food in Sadaqah
(charity). Meaning that the humility that is present in the licking, has more Thawaab
(rewards) than giving that food in Sadaqah. Masnad Hasan bin Sufiaan
Thawaab of giving freedom to 40 slaves: Hadeeth
Shareef: Hadrat Sayyidinaa wa Maulaanaa Muhammad
has said:
(After eating), Clean the bowl and drink (the water with which it was cleaned). The one who
does this is as if he gave freedom to 40 slaves from the progeny of Ismaaeel
Nuzhatul Majaalis
Hadeeth Shareef: Hadrat Aboo Hurairah
has narrated that
Hadrat Sayyidinaa wa Maulaanaa Muhammad
has said: "The person
who has eaten, removes (the food particles stuck in his teeth) with a tooth pick, he
should spit out and if he removes with his tongue he should swallow it. Whoever does this
does good and if he does not, it does not matter. Aboo Dawood.
My beloved readers, how many great rewards are given to the
simplest and the easiest of actions, if they are according to the Sunnah, never
ceases to amaze me. How much we can all enrich our lives here and in the Aakhirah by
adopting the simplicity of the life of the Greatest of all human beings
,
every deed of whose life was loved immensely by his and our Creator Allaah
, may my life be sacrificed for them a million times.
Unfortunately many of us have not been brought up in homes where the Sunnah has
been followed or revered. Many of us have learnt a "colonial" type of Islaam,
influenced and brain washed by the culture and habits of those who colonized our
countries. Many of our elders as well as our youth Naoozu billaah (may Allaah
protect us) scoff at
the Practices of the King of all human beings who was sent to be obeyed and followed.
Unfortunately many of our so called "Scholars" on the circuit in suits, ties,
clean shaven chins, and bare heads are also the sad victims of this serious disease. We
should make fervent Duaa for them: O Allaah
please remove this disease from their hearts and purify them with
the practice of the Sunnah of Your beloved, Hadrat Sayyidinaa wa Maulaanaa
Muhammad
Aameen Yaa Rabbul Aalameen, O the Most Merciful,
Ameen again. To be continued InshaAllaah Taalaa.

VIRTUES OF THE KNOWLEDGE OF FIQH AND SHAREEAH (Continued)
The Menses
The blood of the menses which flows out from the uterus of a female attaining puberty is an impurity. The minimum age for the menstrual discharge is nine years and maximum 55 years. Bleeding that occurs outside these age limits is not regarded menstrual by the Shari'ah unless, of course, it is dark red in colour.
The minimum duration of a menstrual discharge is three days and three nights and maximum ten days and ten nights. A discharge of a lesser or greater duration is not regarded as menstrual, but may be due to some ailment and is termed Istihadah and governed by separate regulations.
Regulations Governing Menstrual Impurity.
1. Discharge of blood of any colour during the course will be regarded as menstrual.
2. A woman who has green, gray or yellow bleeding after she has attained menopause age of 55 years, will be regarded as discharging the menses provided that she has had the same kind of bleeding previously as well before attaining that age.
3. If a woman had bleeding for a little less than three days and three nights, this bleeding would not be regarded as menstrual but non-menstrual due to some ailment. Instance: A woman had issue of blood at sunrise on Friday which ceased flowing a little before sunrise on Monday: this will not be menstrual but non-menstrual bleeding (Istihadah).
4. If a woman has menstrual discharge for three or more days normally, and then some month she has a discharge of longer duration, it will be regarded as menstrual. If however, the discharge continued for more than ten days, the extra days than usual would be governed by the rules of Istihadah.
6. The minimum period of purity between two successive menstrual periods is 15 days, the maximum has no limit. Thus' if a women does not have menstrual discharge for a couple of months, or for whole life, she will be treated as clean and pure. similarly a woman who has bleeding for a day or two followed by 10 or 12 days of purity and again bleeding for a day or two, will be governed by the rules of Istihadah.
6. If a woman had bleeding for a day or two, followed by 16 days of purity and again bleeding for a day or two, it will be looked upon as Istihadah.
7. If a woman has continuous bleeding for a number of months together, the first ten days of each month will be governed by the rules pertaining to the menses and the rest by those pertaining to Istihadah.
8. If a woman had bleeding for a day or two, then remained clean for less than 15 days, and again had bleeding, she would be regarded as having continuous bleeding. In this case, the usual number of days with her will be regarded as menstrual and the rest as Istihadah. If, however, she had the first ever discharge of her life, the first ten days would be looked upon as menstrual and the rest as Istihadah. Instance: Supposing a woman usually has menstrual bleeding during the first three days of a month, then some month she has bleeding only for one day (say the 1st of the month), followed by 14 clean days but again bleeding on the 16th for one day; this woman would be regarded as having continuous bleeding for 16 days, out of which the first three days would be counted as menstrual and the rest (from 4th to 16th) as non-menstrual (Istihadah) .
9. If a woman has no fixed period, but her course varies between three and ten days, the discharge will be regarded as menstrual. If some month she has bleeding for more than ten days, she should count it against the number of days she had it in the previous month and regard the extra days as non-menstrual (Istihadah).

VIRTUES OF THE KNOWLEDGE OF "ASMAA UL HUSNAH" (THE MOST BEAUTIFUL NAMES)
Extracts from the Book " The Most Beautiful Names" compiled by. . .
Hadrat Shaikh Tosun Bayrak al- Jerrahi al-Halveti
Al Malik ![]()
He is the Owner of the universe, of the whole
creationthe absolute Ruler. Allaah
is
the only Ruler of the entire universe, visible and invisible, and of all creation, from
before the beginning and after the end. There is none like Him because He is the Creator
of His kingdom, which He created from nothing. Only He knows the size of His kingdom, the
number of its population, and the strength of His armies. Only His will, His rule and His
justice exist. What happens is what He wills; what He does not will will never happen. He
does not need His kingdom, His kingdom needs Him. He rules by Himself; He does not need
any means of help to rule. He has created the universe as a place of work for His
creation, and has created the Day of Last Judgment as a great court of justice. In the
world, one's deeds are planted. On the Day of Last Judgment the rewards are reaped.
Everyone will receive the result of his doings. There is none other than Him in whom to
take refuge.
Servants of Allaah
who
come to know their Master, finding the meaning of that divine name in themselves, will
become sober from the drunkenness of counting their fortunes, their high positions and
their fame as their own. Those who have served worldly kings as gods will wish for the
Master of their masters. All will know that they are not left on their own in this Divine
Kingdom, but that there is an absolute Ruler who sees a black ant crawling on a black rock
on the darkest of nights, as well as the most secret thoughts and feelings passing through
minds and hearts. Everything that one is and everything that one does is watched and
recorded; all will be accounted for on the Day of Last Judgment.
One who knows al-Malik, even if he is a king, will know that at best he is a shepherd charged for a short time to care for a flock that is not his. To the extent of his conscientiousness, hard work and devotion, he may expect to be rewarded by his Master. If he is a bad shepherd, killing and roasting the lambs, drinking all their milk, letting the wolves ravage the flock, he certainly will be punished. When his duty as a shepherd ends, he will have to give an accounting. It is better to put one's accounts in order before the Day that they must be submitted.

TRANSLATION OF THE HIGHLY ACCLAIMED BOOK IN 5 VOLUMES
"MAKSHOOFAAT MANAZIL EHSAAN"
(Manifestations of The Stages if Excellence in Worship) Continued
By Hadrat Abu Anees Muhammad Barkat Ali, QaddasAllaahu Taalaa Sirrahul Azeez
Some voluntary steps for the acquisition of Istiqaamah (Stead fastness in deeds)
Hadeeth Shareef: Hadrat Aboo Hurairah
narrates that Hadrat
Sayyidinaa wa Maulaanaa Muhammad
did not like any
conversation before the Ishaa salaat and after it. Tirmidzee.
Go to sleep immediately after the Ishaa salaat. Do not speak with any one unnecessarily and more than necessary. Eat less in the night. Perform wudoo before sleeping and putting your head on your right palm and facing the Qiblah, go to sleep. The noor created by saying Allaah Allaah is extinguished by useless talk. Do not invent unsubstantiated and as you like stories and tell them; nor listen to them. Desist from useless and unnecessary meetings and visits.
After the Fajr and Zuhr Salaats as much as possible, in the Masjid (at the place where you did your salaat) or at home, become
busy with "Allaah Allaah" till the sun
rises or sets. Both these times are exclusive for the Dzikr of Allaah
. As far as possible, keep these periods replete with Dzikr
and do not get entangled with loose talk.
If anyone ponders, in these two periods every one is free.
After finishing business everyone is home. Instead of wasting this valuable time in
useless conversation, why not spend it in the remembrance of Allaah
.
In the Remembrance of Allaah is the best comfort, ease and diversion.
Similarly do not enter into close friendship with anyone nor have enmity. No matter how careful the friend is, he will consume your time and time is the most valuable possession of a muslim. If someone abuses another, do not respond and exercise such patience as if none had said anything. Your heart may remain uncontaminated at all times with such thoughts and there should be nothing in your heart against anyone. Do not travel unnecessarily; every trip influences ritual practices and to remain steadfast in ones rituals during a journey is indeed an act of great courage. Do not participate in unnecessary customs and occasions. If someone invites you, offer your regrets. On the path of Tareeqat, two matters are never acceptable: Worry of provision and worry of abode and residence.
Hadeeth Shareef: Hadrat Aboo Dardaa
narrates
that Hadrat Sayyidinaa wa Maulaanaa Muhammad
said: "Rizq (provision)
searches for the slave just as Death looks for a human being". Aboo Naeem
Rahmatullaah Alaih.
