Belief concerning (Divine) Books of Allaah
and Scriptures revealed before the Holy Quraan were
entrusted by Allaah
to the Messengers for protection
from changes. After they left the world, their ummahs were given this responsibility which
they did not carry out. As a matter of fact these Divine Books and Scriptures were
tampered with, they were added to in some areas, subtracted from in other areas.

VIRTUES OF THE MONTH RAMADAANUL MUBAARAK
Hadrat Abdullaah Bin Mas'ood
narrates that the Beloved of Allaah, Hadrat Sayyidinaa Wa
Maulaanaa Muhammad
has said: whoever fasts from the
beginning to the end of the Ramadaanul Mubaarak shall come out of his sins as if he is
just born from his mother's womb.
The Beloved of Allaah Hadrat Sayyidinaa Wa Maulanaa
Muhammad
has said: the one who fasts in the month of
Ramadaan ul Muabaarak, Allaah
will reward him with a
house of emeralds. This house will have 1000 doors and in front of each door will a be
tree whose shade will be so vast that a horse rider will not come out of its shade even if
he travels for 100 years. (Taqweem Daarul Ehsaan, 1994, Pg. 49
It is essential to make Niyyah (Intention) to fast.
It is better if the following niyyah is made:
Transliteration:- Bisaumi ghadin nawaitu min shahri Ramadaan
Translation:- I have the intention to fast tomorrow for the month of Ramadaan
However niyyah in the heart is enough.
To eat Sahree (Before dawn) is a Sunnah, even it is
one or two morsels. Breaking the fast (Iftaar) with dates or water is approved. At the
time of Iftaar recite the following D'ua:
Transliteration: Allaahumma Laka Sumtu Wa 'Alaa Rizqika Aftartu
Translation: Dearest Allaah, I have fasted for Your
Pleasure and broken it with the provisions You have bestowed.
Actions which render the fast void and Kuffaarah (expiation) and Qadaa(Repeat) become essential.
To smoke; to eat and drink deliberately; have sexual intercourse. The expiation is to fast continuously for 60 days or feed twice a day 60 Miskeen (Needy).
Actions which make the fast Makrooh (Defective)
To chew anything needlessly or taste salt or similar things and then spit them. Collect saliva deliberately in the mouth and then swallow it. Commit sins like Gheebah (Back Biting), lying , foul language, pick up fights & quarrel.
Actions which do not render the fast void
To eat or drink in forgetfulness; dust, mosquito, fly or other insects to enter the throat accidentally, water to enter the ears, involuntary vomiting, seminal discharge during sleep, for the vomit to reenter (down the throat), to put medicine in the eyes, to do miswaak: these acts do not render the fast void.
Actions which make the fast void and Waajib (necessitate) qadaa (repeating) the fast
Illness which robs one of the strength to fast or make it necessary to take medication during day time, a pregnant women whose life and the life of the fetus is threatened by fasting; a traveler who is at least traveling 48 miles and there is no food available (to do Iftaar and eat food afterwards); a woman in menstrual period. If a person rises late and takes Sharee meal presuming there is still time and he realizes later that he was out of time, he must repeat the fast. (Ramadaan fast can be only repeated after the month is over). If a person breaks his fast before sunset by mistake, he will have to repeat the fast. If a person deliberately vomits at least a mouth full of the stomach contents, he must repeat the fast. An old weak person who would suffer pain if he fasts, should give 4 Kilos of wheat to a needy person.
Conditions under which a fast can be terminated
If a person becomes ill during the fast and his life is threatened, or the illness may become worse, or thirst has become severe and it may kill him, it is permissible to terminate the fast and do another one Qadaa.
Lailatul Qadr (The Night of Power)
Hadrat Aboo Hurairah
has narrated that the Beloved of Allaah, Hadrat Sayyidinaa Wa Maulaana Muhammad
said: The person who is a
believer and does Qiyamul Lail (Spend the night in worship) during the Night of Power with
the intention of receiving rewards, will be forgiven his future sins and a believer who
fasts during the month of Ramadaan considering them to be acts which give him rewards,
will have his future sins forgiven.
(Bukhaaree Shareef, Tarteeb Shareef page 820)
Hadrat Anas
has
narrated that the Beloved of Allaah Hadrat Sayyidinaa Wa Maulaanaa Muhammad
said: When the Lailatul Qadr
arrives, Hadrat Jibraeel
descends with the Jama'ah of angels
who seek blessings and forgiveness (from Allaah
) for
that slave who is busy with the Dhikr and Worship of Allaah sitting or standing. Then on
the day of 'Eed for Muslims ('Eedul Fitr), Allaah
expresses His pride over such slaves of His and says:
"O my angels what are the wages of a worker who has completed his duty?" the
angels respond respectfully: "O our Lord his wages are that he should be paid in
full". Allaah
says: "O my angels, my slaves men and women have fulfilled their duty and
have left their homes to go to the Masjid to make D'uaa. I swear upon My Honor, Majesty,
My Forgiveness, My Generosity and my Exaltedness that I will accept their D'uaas".
Then Allaah
says: "O my slaves, go back to your
homes, I have forgiven you and I have converted your sins into good deeds". The
Beloved of Allaah Hadrat Sayyidinaa Wa Maulaanaa Muhammad
said: Then the muslims return from the Masjid in such a condition that their sins are
forgiven.
(Baihaqee, Mishkaat Shareef, Tarteeb Shareef pages 821,822)
One should look for the Lailatul Qadr on the Nights of the 21st, 23rd, 25th, 27th, and the 29th of the Ramadaan.
Hadrat Aayishah Siddeeqah
narrates that the Beloved
of Allaah, Hadrat Sayyidinaa Wa Maulaanaa Muhammad
said:
"Seek the Lailatul Qadr among the nights of odd numbers during the last ten nights of
Ramadaan. (Bukhaaree)
Hadrat Aayishah Siddeeqah
has narrated that the
Beloved of Allaah, Hadrat Sayyidinaa Wa Maulaanaa Muhammad
did not devote himself so much to the remembrance and worship of Allaah as he did during
the last ten days of Ramadaan. (Muslim)
The Taraaveeh Salaah
Taraaveeh is the pause observed after every four raka'ahs of this salaah performed after the 'Ishaa Salaah during the month of Ramadaan. The Taraaveeh Salaah consists of twenty raka'ahs and is a Sunnatul Maukkidah (Compulsory Sunnah), both for the males and females. It is independent of the Fast and should be performed even by the person who does not observe the Fast (due to some reason) unless otherwise exempted.
The Beloved of Allaah, Hadrat Sayyidinaa Wa Maulaanaa
Muhammad
addressed his beloved companions (May Allaah
be pleased with them) on the last day of Sha'baan, on the
eve of Ramadaan and said: There is a night in this month which is greater in excellence
than a thousand months; Allaah has enjoined an extra salaat to be performed in the
nights of this month. If a person performs a voluntary act of worship (good deed) out of
his own free choice during this month, he will be entitled to receive the rewards for a
Fard (Compulsory) act performed in other months". (Mishkaat Shareef)
In another Hadeeth the Beloved of Allaah, Hadrat
Sayyidinaa Wa Maulaanaa Muhammad
said: "The one who
observed the Taraaveeh Salaah at night during the month of Ramadaan with complete faith
and devotion only for the sake of receiving thawaab in the Hereafter, will have all his
previous sins forgiven by Allaah
(Bukhaaree, Muslim)
The Taraaveeh Salaah begins from the very evening the Hilaal (visible new moon) of Ramadaan is sighted and discontinued on the evening when the Hilaal of Shawwaal is sighted. The time of performing this salaah is after salaatul 'Ishaa till the break of dawn. This salaat should be performed in Jama'ah. (congregation)

VIRTUES OF SALAATUN NABI
(Durood)
My dearest readers, jewels of my eyes, I am praying
to Allaah
that you have already started your daily
'Ibaadah of reciting Salaatun Nabi on the Beloved of Allaah, Hadrat Sayyidinaa Wa
Maulaanaa Muhammad
with the intention of steadfastness upon
it for the rest of your lives and join the ranks of those fortunate Mumins, who will be
given the gift in return, of love for him
more than the love
for anything else in the world, love for yourselves from our Most Beneficent Creator,
being close to his Beloved on the Day of Judgment and enjoying high stations in Paradise.
Ameen
As promised I am quoting some awesome Ahadeeth about
this unique Ibaadah:-
The Beloved of Allaah, Hadrat Sayyidinaa Wa Maulaanaa Muhammad
has said: "Once Hadrat Jibraeel
,Hadrat
Meekaaeel
, Hadrat Israafeel
and Hadrat 'Izraaeel
presented themselves in my presence.
Hadrat Jibraeel
respectfully submitted: O Rasoolallah
a person who recites 10 times
Durood upon you, I will hold his hand and help him cross the Bridge of Siraat with the
speed of lightening. Hadrat Meekaeel
said: I will give him a
drink from the Pond of Kauthar. Hadrat Israafeel
said: I
will fall down in Sajdah to Allaah and will not raise my head till Allaah gives him
Maghfirah (Salvation). Hadrat 'Izraaeel
said: I will extract his soul in the manner in which I extracted the
souls of the Holy Prophets and Messengers". (Durratun Naasiheen)
The Beloved of Allaah, Hadrat Sayyidinaa Wa Maulaanaa
Muhammad
has said: "The person who
sends Durood upon me 10 times every morning and 10 times every evening will be protected from the fear of Hell Fire
and will be in the company of those Messengers,
Prophets and Siddeeqeen who have received special favors from Allaah
". (Durratun Naasiheen)
Hadrat Anas Bin Maalik
has
narrated that the Beloved of Allaah, Hadrat Sayyidinaa Wa Maulaanaa Muhammad
has said: "The person who sends me 1,000 Duroods daily will
not die until he has seen his abode in Paradise". (Ravaah Ibn Shaheen, Jawaahirul
Bahaar)
Hadrat Aboo Bakr Siddeeq
has narrated that sending Durood to the Beloved of Allaah, Hadrat Sayyidinaa Wa Maulaanaa
Muhammad
removes the sins as cold water dowses the fire and
to send salaam (Peace) to him
is better than giving freedom
to a slave. (Durratun Naasihee)
Hadrat Anas
has
narrated that our Master, Hadrat Sayyidinaa Wa Maulaanaa Muhammad
has said: Whoever sent Durood to me keeping in mind the greatness
of my Truth, Allaah Ta'laa will create an angel because of this, whose one arm will be in
the East and one in the West and his feet in the roots of the earth and the head under the
Throne and Allaah
will command him: You must send
Durood to this person as he has sent Durood to My Beloved
.
This angel then sends Durood (upon that person) till Yaum ul Qiyaamah (The Day of
Judgement). (This has been narrated by Ibn Shaaheen in Targheeb).
Hadrat Ammaar Bin Yaasir
narrates that the Beloved of Allaah, Hadrat Sayyidinaa Wa Maulaanaa Muhammad
has said: Indeed out of the Angels of Allaah
, one angel has been given the power to hear the voices of
His creation (from any where in the world). This angel will stand at my grave till the
establishment of Qiyaamah. Any one of my Ummah who recites even one Durood upon me (He
hears it and conveys it to me) Allaah
in return bestows
10 graces (mercy) upon the one who sent that Durood and if he increases (the quantity of
Durood) Allaah
also increases (His graces).
(This has been narrated by Bazaar and Ibn 'Asaa in Jawaahirul Bahaar)
Hadrat Ma'aaz Bin Jabal
has narrated that the Beloved of Allah, Hadrat Sayyidinaa Wa Maulaanaa Muhammad
has said: Allaah
has bestowed
upon me things which He has not bestowed upon other Prophets and He has given me
superiority over them and for my Ummah in sending their Durood upon me, given them the
highest station (above other ummahs). An angel has been appointed on my grave whose name
is Mantaroos whose head is below the Throne and the feet below the earth. He has 80,000
arms and 80,000 wings in each arm, and each in wing 80,000 hair and under each hair there
is a tongue which is busy reciting Hamd (Praises) and Thanaa (Glorification) of Allaah
and asks for
forgiveness for those of my ummah who recite Durood upon me. From his head to feet, he has
innumerous mouths and innumerous tongues and innumerous hair. There is not even a handspan
distance between the tongues. His occupation is to recite the Praises and Glorification of
Allaah
and
to seek forgiveness for the ones who send Durood to me. This he (the angel) does all his
life.(Akhrajah Ibn Bishkawaal, Al Qaulul Badee').
Hadrat Aboo Hurairah
has narrated that the Beloved of Allaah, Hadrat Sayyidinaa Wa Maulaanaa Muhammad
has said: Send your Duroods upon the Prophets and Messengers
'Alaihimis salaam because they like me also have been sent (by Allaah
).(Akhrajah 'Abur Razzaaq, Durratun Naasiheen). My beloved
readers let me suggest the following to comply with this command of the Beloved of my soul
Hadrat Muhammad Mustafaa
:
Transliteration:
| Allaahumma Salli'Alaa Sayyidinaa
Muhammadin Wa Sayyidinaa Aadama Wa Sayyidinaa Noohin Wa Sayyidinaa Ibraaheema Wa
Sayyidinaa Moosaa Wa Sayyidinaa 'Eesaa Wa Ma Bainahum Minan Nabiyyeena Wal Mursaleena Wa Salawaatullaahi Wa Salaamuhum 'Alaihim
Ajma'een. |
Translation:
| Dearest Allaah |
Hadrat 'Alee Bin Abeetaalib
narrates that the Beloved of Allaah, Hadrat Sayyidinaa Wa
Maulaanaa Muhammad
said: There is a Hijaab (Curtain) between
every Du'aa and Allaah
till such time as you recite
Durood upon me and my progeny. When you do this the Curtain is torn down and the Du'aa
enters (the station of acceptance) and when this is not done, the Du'aa will come back.
(Riwaah Al Baihaqee in Sh'ub ul Eamaan, Al Qaul ul Badee').
Hadrat 'Abdullaah Bin 'Abbaas
has narrated: That I have heard your Prophet Muhammad
say: On the white and
shiny night and on the bright day (night between Thursday & Friday and Friday) recite
Durood Shareef upon your Prophet in abundance.(Rawaah Al Baihaqee, Al Qaulul Badee)
Hadrat 'Alee Karramallaahu Wajh
has narrated that the Beloved of Allaah Hadrat Sayyidinaa Wa
Maulaanaa Muhammad
said: There are some special angels of
Allaah
who
have been created from noor (Light) who descend only on the night between Thursday and
Friday and on Friday. In their hands are pens of gold and inkpots of silver and paper of
noor. They only write down the Durood Shareef. (Dailamee, Al Qaul ul Badee)
Hadrat Anas
has
narrated that Marfoo' said that the Beloved of Allaah Hadrat Sayyidinaa Wa Maulaanaa
Muhammad
said:
The person who recites even one Durood upon me on Friday, Allaah
and his Angels
send 100,000 Duroods upon him, wipe out 100,000 sins and increase his station 100,000
times in Paradise. (Al Qualul Badee').
Hadrat Ka'b
narrates
that the Beloved of Allaah Hadrat Sayyidinaa Wa Maulaanaa Muhammad
said: On the day of Qiyaamah, Hadrat Aadam
, on seeing a person of the ummah of Hadrat Muhammad
being taken towards
Hell Fire, will say to him
"One of your ummah is being
taken to Hell Fire". The Mercy to the Universe
will run
towards this person and hold him and will ask the angels to stop. The angels will say:
Have you not read the Aayah "Laa Ya'simoon Allaaha Wa Amruhum Wa Yaf'aloona Maa
Yumaroona Fayasma'oon"? Translation: "Angels do not disobey Allaah and whatever
command they are given they carry it out". At that point a crier will call out
"Obey Muhammad
and accept his order. The Prince of Madeenah
will
tell them to take that person to the Meezaan (The Balance). There after his deeds will be
weighed and his evil deeds will out weigh his good deeds. The Beloved of my soul
will then produce a slip of paper from his sleeve on which will
be written a Durood Shareef and will place it on the top of the person's good deeds.
Immediately the arm of the Balance of the good deeds will become heavier. The person will
become ecstatic and say: May my father and mother be sacrificed for you, who are
you?" The coolness of my eyes
will say. "I am
Muhammad
". The person will kiss the feet of the Beloved
of Allaah
and ask. "What was the slip of paper"?
The Beloved of my soul
will respond: "This is the Durood you used to send to me in the world. I had
guarded this trust" The person will respond : "It is sad that I lagged behind in
performing the deeds (prescribed) by Allaah
".
(Akhrajah Kunzul Akhbaar, Durratun Nasiheen)
My dearest readers, jewels of my eyes, there are many
many more Ahadeeth on this subject and innumerous narrations from well known scholars,
reformers and Aulia about their personal experiences relating to the performance of the
'Ibaadah of reciting Durood upon the life of my Soul Hadrat Muhammad
.I have covered this subject I sincerely hope, to your fullest
satisfaction. I will close these series with a heartfelt Du'aa for all of you: May you all
receive the Taufeeq from Allaah
to gain steadfastness in this beautiful occupation. May this worship become the
cause of your closeness to the Lord of the Power and to the most blessed and beloved of
all his Creation and the light of this universe, Hadrat Sayyidinaa Wa Maulaanaa Muhammad
.
Ameen Ameen again.

Virtues Of Growing the Beard
The beard of the Beloved of Allaah, Sayyidinaa Wa
Maulaanaa Muhammad
was thick, profuse and covered the whole
of his chest. (Shamail-e-Tirmidhee).
The Beloved of Allaah, Hadrat Sayyidinaa Wa Maulaanaa
Muhammad
has
said: Indeed there are angels of Allaah whose Tasbeeh (Glorification) is:
Transliteration: "Subhaana Man Zayyanar Rijaala bil Luhaa Wa Zayyanan Nisaaa biz Zawaaib"
Translation: Glorified is He who decorated males with the beards and decorated females with locks of hair.
Jewels of my eyes, we already know that Islaam is
Deenul Fitrah (Way of life based upon our true nature). One does not have to be a scholar
with a Ph.D. to understand that throughout the animal kingdom males and females are
distinguished even from the outside appearance. Similarly as the above Hadeeth clearly
indicates, males are endowed with beards and females are not. To grow a beard (which
happens naturally, one does not have to make it grow) is the Sunnah of every Prophet and
Messenger of Allaah
and Sunnah of our own Beloved
, the Mercy to the
Universe, the Prince of Madeenah, Hadrat Muhammad
Hadrat Aboo Hurairah
has narrated that the Beloved of Allaah, Hadrat Sayyidinaa Wa
Maulaanaa Muhammad
has cursed the males who change their
faces to resemble the faces of females (by shaving and also in demeanor) and the females
who change their faces to resemble males including dress and demeanor and who go out alone
into forests (when there is danger in traveling alone). (Imaam Ahmad)
Hadrat Huzailee says that I was present at the service of Hadrat Abdullaah Bin 'Umrau Bin 'Aas
. A woman passed by who had a bow hanging on her and was walking
like a male. Hadrat 'Aabdullah asked: who is this (woman)? I said: Ummi Sa'eed Bint Aboo
Jahal. Hadrat 'Abdullaah
said: I heard my Master Hadrat Muhammad
say: A woman who makes herself resemble a male is not from
our group neither a male he makes himself resemble a female. (Imaam Ahmad)
The Beloved of Allaah, Hadrat Sayyidinaa Wa Maulaanaa
Muhammad
has said: The one who does not trim his mustache is
not from among us. (Tirmidhee, Nisaai)
Hadrat Anas
has
narrated that the Beloved of Allaah, the Prince of Madeenah
has said: For trimming one's mustache and one's nails one
should not delay beyond 40 days. (Muslim)
Allaah
in His
Quraanul Majeed says: 118. Allaah cursed him. And he (Shaitaan, Iblees) said: "I will
take an appointed portion of your slaves; 119 Verily, I will mislead them, and surely, I
will arouse in them false desires, and certainly, I will order them to slit the ears of
cattle, and indeed I will order them to change the nature created by Allaah", and
whoever takes Shaitaan as a Walee (Protector, helper) instead of Allaah, has surely
suffered a manifest loss". Soorah 4, Aayahs 118 & 119.
Muffassireen have consistently concluded that "change the nature created by Allaah" includes among other things, a
man shaving his beard. Of course the Sunnah of the
Prince of Madeenah
is conclusive about this matter, because he
is in spirit, and in body and in mind a prefect model of
True Nature as created by Allaah
.
My beloved readers jewels of my eyes, I want to bring
to your attention the amazingly emphatic words Shaitaan has used as quoted in the above
Aayahs. Words such as "I will mislead them" "surely I will
arouse in them false desires". "Certainly I will order them". . . "Indeed I will order them to change the
nature . . ." This is why those who
do not obey Allaah
and do not obey His Beloved Muhammad
by following his
Sunnah, have
taken Shaitaan as their lord and they actually obey his commands. Remember my beloved
soulmates, Shaitaan has no power to rule over us. We have been given by Allaah
a will to choose. Shaitaan can command us only when we choose
to obey him.
My beloved gems let us pray for ourselves and all our
muslim brothers & sisters all over the world: "May we have the strength of eemaan
and the wisdom to choose to obey our Lord of Power
and
obey his most Beloved Hadrat Sayyidinaa Wa Maulaanaa Muhammad
by following his wonderful and natural Sunnah and may we be protected from being lured by
the accursed Shaitaan into submitting to his accursed will and command. Na'oozu Billaah
Inshaallaah Ta'laa more about this subject will follow in our next issue.
| Only 10 months ago we started with

When you receive a ni'mah (gift)
Hadrat Anas
has
narrated that the Beloved of Allaah Hadrat Muhammad
has
said: When Allaah bestows gifts upon His slave and He says:
Transliteration: Alhamdu Lillaahi Rabbil 'Aalameen.
Translation: All praises are for Allaah only, Who is the Lord of all the worlds.
Then he will receive another gift better then the one he has already received (that is, he will receive a Thawaab for saying that). (Hasan Haseen, Tarteeb Shareef page 500)
When you are involved in a debt
Hadrat 'Alee Karramallaahu Wajh narrated that the
Beloved of Allaah, Hadrat Sayyidinaa Wa Maulaanaa Muhammad
said: When some one gets involved in a debt he should make the following D'uaa:
Transliteration: Allahumma Ikfinee Bihalaalika 'An Haraamika Wa Aghninee Bifadlika Amman Siwaak,
Translation: Dearest Allah please make sufficient for me Halaal Rizq (Provision) instead of Haraam Rizq and make me independent of all, by Your Grace except You.
When your get involved in Waswasah (doubts)
Aboo Hurairah
has narrated
that the Beloved of Allaah, Hadrat Sayyidinaa Wa Maulaanaa Muhammad
has said: Anyone who gets involved in Waswasah
(doubts) should recite:
Transliteration: A'oozu Billaahi Minash Shaitaanir Rajeem.
Translation: I seek protection in Allaah from the
accursed Shaitaan.(and become free of his Waswasah).

SOME ESSENTIAL ADVICE FROM Hadrat Abu Anees Muhammad Barkat 'Ali Mudda Zilluhu
CHARACTER
![]()
WORSHIP SHIRK OR
RESPECT Allaah Certainly Not: This was the Sajdah of respect
to the knowledge and the authority bestowed by the One who created Aadam Allaah Hadrat 'Alee Karramallahu Wajh in on record as saying "I am the slave of the one who taught me even one word; he may keep me or set me free". Remember my beloved gems, Shaitaan became accursed not
for refusing to prostrate to Allaah Jewels of my eyes, go ahead become mad and intoxicated with
the love and respect for the most Beloved of Allaah . Guaranteed, you will be showered by Allaah with His Love for you and a place close to Him here as well as in Paradise and allow you to worship Him as if you can see Him. Inshaallah Ta'ala. Warning: As long as you believe and understand

VIRTUES OF THE KNOWLEDGE OF FIQH AND SHARI'AH
We shall Inshaallaah Ta'ala continue the translation of the extracts from the great work "Manifestations of the Stages of Excellence in Worship" by our beloved, esteemed and highly revered Shaikh Hadrat Abu Anees Muhammad Barkat 'Ali Mudda Zilluhu.
The First Period of Fiqh (continued)
Anyone who has some familiarity with the Shari'ah of
Islaam will not have the slightest hesitation in accepting the fact that the Shari'ah of
Islaam consists of established laws. The only reason for this stability is that its
principles are based on revelations from Allaah
. Their
explanations and elaborations have been done by the clean hands of the Sages of Allaah and
their bright minds. The other name for the laws of Shari'ah is Fiqh. Description of the
laws dealing with our deeds and actions is the purpose of Fiqh. This body of knowledge is
based upon the Quraan and Sunnah and its established principles. In other words, those
laws which are derived from the principles of the Holy Quraan and Sunnah are called Fiqhee
and a Faqeeh is that Scholar of the Deen who delves deep into the Laws of Shari'ah
according to rules of Ijtehaad and arrives at the truth and solves problems. Since the
Holy Quraan and Sunnah embody all the laws of human needs, the status of a Faqeeh is not
that of an inventor but a Mufassir and an elaborator. A Faqeeh does not need to invent
anything by himself, because all that is needed is available in the Quraan and Sunnah.
Ever since Islaam is in existence, Islaamic Fiqh has also been in existence. The Quraan
was being revealed for 23 years, during this period whenever the need arose, the Beloved
of Allaah, Hadrat Muhammad
would clarify the intention
behind the Quraanic Laws from his own Ijtehaad. Similarly after him
, his beloved companions (May Allaah
be pleased with them all) whenever faced with new problems,
would use their Ijtehaad to solve them (In the spirit of the Quraan and Sunnah). To be

TRANSLATION OF THE HIGHLY ACCLAIMED BOOK IN 5 VOLUMES - - -
MAKSHOOFAT MANAAZIL EHSAAN
(Manifestations of The Stages of Excellence in Worship) - - - continued:
By Hadrat Shaikh Abu Anees Muhammad Barkat 'Ali Mudda Zilluhu
Hadrat Sehel Bin Sa'd
narrates that the Beloved of Allaah Hadrat Muhammad
has
said: If the value of the world, in the view of Allaah
was equal to the wing of a mosquito, then He would not
even give a Kaafir one sip. (Tirmidhee, Ibn Maajah)
Note: From the humble pupil of Shaikh Abu
Anees Muhammad Barkat 'Ali Mudda Zilluhu. Probably what this Hadeeth means is that it is
because Allaah
values this world to be so insignificant that He allows the Kuffaar their
luxuries and riches and comforts etc. Their worldly possessions no matter how voluminous
and valuable in their eyes, they are mere illusions and a great deception. We muslims
should take warning from this Hadeeth and look at the world and its possessions as not
even equal to the wing of the mosquito. Allaah
His
Beloved
and my Shaikh Mudda Zilluhu know best.
Hadrat Aboo Hurairah
narrates that the Beloved of Allaah, Hadrat Muhammad
has said: Curse has been placed upon the slave of Dirham and
Dinaar (Dollar and Cent). (Tirmidhee)
Hadrat 'Ubaiddullaah Bin Muhsin
narrates that the Beloved
of Allaah, Hadrat Sayyidinaa Wa Maulaanaa Muhammad
has said:
A person who wakes up in the morning in such a condition that he is fearless about his
life, his body is healthy, has one day's provision (including food etc.), it is as if all
the gifts and favours of the world have been collected for him and the whole world has
been given to him. (Tirmidhee)
Hadrat Abee Haasham Bin 'Utbah
narrates that the Beloved
of Allaah, Hadrat Muhammad
while advising him said: Out of
all the deeds in the world, one servant and one transportation for traveling in the path
of Allaah
is enough. (Ahmad)
Hadrat Uthmaan
narrates that the Beloved of Allaah, Hadrat Sayyidinaa Wa
Maulaanaa Muhammad
has said: The son of Aadam
has no right over anything except (1) a house to live in
(2)clothes to cover his body (3) dry bread (4) water. (Tirmidhee)
Hadrat Sehel Bin Sa'd
narrates that a person presented himself to the blessed presence
of the Beloved of Allaah, Hadrat Sayyidinaa Wa Maulaanaa Muhammad
and respectfully
said: O Rasoolallaah
please show me a deed that when I perform it Allaah
and His slaves will love me. The Beloved of Allaah
replied: Do not have any attraction toward the world. Allaah
will love you. Do not pine for things which others have;
people will love you. (Tirmidhee, Ibn Maajah)
Hadrat Ibn Mas'ood
narrates that the Beloved of Allaah, Hadrat Sayyidinaa Wa
Maulaanaa Muhammad
was sleeping upon a mat made of palm
leaves. When he woke up I saw that his blessed body had marks of the (coarse) mat. I
respectfully said: O Rasoolallaah
, if you had ordered us we
would have spread for you a proper bedding and would have made clothes for you. The
Beloved of Allaah
said: What need do I have for (things of)
the world? The example of myself and the world is like that of a traveller who stops under
a tree for its shade and then goes away leaving the tree behind.
Note: From the humble pupil of Shaikh Abu Anees Muhammad Barkat 'Ali Mudda Zilluhu. My beloved jewels of my eyes, should we all not ponder seriously upon these great Ahadeeth which Hadrat Abu Anees Muhammad Barkat 'Ali Mudda Zilluhu has selected for us? The life of our beloved Shaikh Mudda Zilluhu is a pure reflection in practice of these Ahadeeth. This is exactly why we revere him, love him deeply and follow him.
Inshaallaah Ta'ala to be continued
