Please my beloved readers, refer to Vol. 2 No.4 for the wonderful virtues of this month.

The Account of Yaum ul Qiyaamah (The Day of Judgment)
Aqeedah (Creed): Qiyaamah will indeed take place. The one who denies this becomes a kaafir.
Aqeedah: Hashr (Resurrection) will not be only of the Rooh (soul) but both the body and the soul.
Aqeedah: Whichever body the Rooh was connected to in the world, the resurrection of that Rooh will be with same body. A new body will not be created and that Rooh connected to it.
Aqeedah: If at the time of death the ingredients of the body were scattered and may have even been eaten by various animals, Allaah Taalaa will order all ingredients collected and resurrected on the Yaum ul Qiyaamah. On that Day people will rise from their graves naked, bare footed and without circumcision. Some will walk some will ride; some riding alone and others 2,3,4 or 10 together. Kuffaar will travel to the plain of Hashr on their faces; some will be dragged by the angels and some collected by the fire. The plain of Hashr will be formed in Land of Syria. The plain will be so level that even if a mustard seed were to be dropped at one end, it would be seen from the other end. On that terrible Day, the earth would be of copper and the sun only a mile away. The heat and its effect on the surface of copper on that Day is unimaginable. We can only seek His protection. Brains of human beings will be boiling. Their sweat, after 70 yards (in height) of it is absorbed by the earth, will rise up to be ankle deep for some, knee deep for some, up to the waists for some, up to the neck for others. The kuffaar will have it rise up to their mouths like the reins of a horse and their heads will be dipping in and out of it. The state of thirst on this Day can be imagined, tongues would dry up to become like thorns; some tongues will hang out of the mouths, and the hearts will reach the necks. Everyones involvement will be according to the enormity of their sins. Those who did not give Zakaat for their silver and gold, that silver and gold will be heated and stamped on their sides, forehead and their backs. Those who did not pay Zakaat on their animals those animals will come well prepared and will make the person lie down and then will hit him with their horns and trample over him from one direction and then return doing the same from the other direction. They will continue doing the same till the accounting of the people is completed. Inspite of all these calamities befalling humanity, no one will be solicitous about any one else. A brother will run away from his brother, a father or the mother will try to get rid of their children; the wife and children would look for ways to get rid of the husband/father. In brief every one will be so engulfed in their own misfortunes; no one will be of any help to any other.
Aadam
will be ordered to separate the people of the Hell
Fire. He
will ask: How
many from how many? He will be commanded to separate 999 from every 1000! This is at the
time when the children have become old because of grief; women who were pregnant (when the
first trumpet was sounded) will abort. People will be as if they are drunk although they
will not be drunk, it would be because Allaahs adzaab is
terrible. How can the list of the calamities be made? There will be so many and so severe
and so awful! And all this suffering will not be for a few hours, a few days, a few months
or a few years but the entire "day" of Qiyaamah which will be a duration
of 50,000 years! We are in our description, up to half of that terrible Day and people are
in the same condition. They will consult with each other and decide they must find some
one to recommend release from these calamities. They will decide to approach Hadrat
Aadam
to recommend
release from their dire distress, as he
is our father created by Allaah Taalaas
Hands of Power and was allowed to live in the Paradise and awarded the office of
Prophethood. With tremendous efforts and hardships they will present themselves in his
presence and will plead: O Hadrat Aadam
you are Abul Bashar (father of mankind), Allaah
created you with His Own Hands of Power and breathed His selected soul
in your body and made His angels prostrate to you, placed you in His Jannah and
taught you all the names of His creation and made you SafiAllaah (His pure friend);
can you not see our condition? Please plead for us with Allaah
to give us relief. Aadam
will say: This is not my station, I myself am concerned
about my own self. Today Allaah
has let lose such a
terrible calamity which He had never done before nor will He do again; find someone else
to help you. People will plead: Who else shall we go to? He will advise: Go to Hadrat
Nooh
; he is the
Prophet sent down to the earth for guidance. People will present themselves to Hadrat
Nooh
, and after
enumerating his virtues will request him to plead with Allaah Rabbul Izzah to
decide about them. They will receive the same reply: I am not fit for this as I am
concerned about my own situation. He will be asked: who would you send us to? He will say:
Go to Hadrat Ibraaheem
,
as Allaah
has given him the honor of making him His Khaleel (Friend).
People will then go to him and receive the same response: I am not fit to plead for you as
I am in danger myself. Briefly, they will go to Hadrat Moosaa
and they will receive the same
answer there. They will then approach Hadrat Eesaa
who will say: Today Allaah
has made a calamity visit us which was never let lose before and will
not do so in the future; I am myself fearful for myself, go to someone else. When asked
who should they go to he will say: submit yourself in the presence of the one in whose
hands opening of the doors is written, who is today without fear and who is the leader of
all the children of Hadrat Aadam
; go to Hadrat Muhammad
who is the Khaatimun Nabiyyeen . He
will intercede for you Today. He is here;
present yourself to him
. People will
start looking for him stumbling here falling there, weeping, moaning in pain and
eventually finding him
. They will
submit to him respectfully: O Muhammad, O the Prophet of Allaah
, Allaah
has bestowed the opening of the door in your hands; you are today at peace.
They will mention many more of his
virtues
and will submit to him respectfully: Please notice the calamities we are facing and our
condition. Please intercede for us in the Court of Majesty of Allaah Almighty and
rescue us from this terrible misfortune. The beloved of Allaah, Hadrat Sayyidinaa wa
Maulaanaa Muhammad
will reply:
"Anaa lahaa" (I am for this purpose); Anaa Saahibukum (I am who
you are searching for). After saying this, he
will present himself at the Majestic Court of Allaah
and will perform sajdah (prostration). Allaah
will address thus: "Yaa Muhammad irfa ra saka wa qul
tusma wa sal tutah wa shfa tushaffa "(O Muhammad, raise
your head and speak, your speech will be listened to and ask for whatever you want and it
will be granted (to you) and you may intercede, your intercession is acceptable). Then the
chain of intercession will commence and the beloved of Allaah, Hadrat Sayyidinaa wa
Maulaanaa Muhammad
will continue
till he
will plead and intercede with Allaah
for the ones whose hearts contained even a mustard seed worth of
Eemaan, and take them out of the Hell Fire. He
will intercede even for those who had accepted Islaam in good faith but
who did not perform any good deed and get them released from the Hell Fire (these two
categories may have spent hundreds of thousand years in the Hell Fire before their
release; may Allaah Taalaa protect us all, Aameen). All the other
Prophets and Messengers will also be permitted to intercede for their ummahs. The Auliaa,
the Martyrs, the Ulamaa, the Huffaaz (those who memorized the Holy Quraan),
the Hujjaaj (those whose Hajj has been accepted) and every person who
has received from Allaah
any honor of the Deen,
will be allowed to intercede on behalf of their dependents. Children will be allowed to
intercede for their parents. Extracts from "Bahaar e Shareeat" by
Hadrat Maulaanaa Amjad Ali (Rahmatullaah Alaih) To be continued InshaAllaah
Taaalaa.

Sayyid ul Istaghfaar (Leader In Seeking Forgiveness) |
Transliteration: Allaahumma anta Rabbee Laa Ilaaha illaa anta khalaqtanee wa anaa abduka wa anaa alaa ahdika wa wadika mastatatu aoodzubika min sharrimaa sanatu aboou laka binimatika alayya wa aboou bizanbee faghfirlee fainnahu laa yaghfiruz zunooba illaa ant.
Translation: Dearest Allaah You are my Lord, there is no god but You. You are the One who created me, I am Your slave and I fulfill the commitment and promise I made with You, as much as I am capable (to do so). I seek Your Protection from the evil of what I have done. I acknowledge those blessings You have bestowed upon me and I confess to You all my sins, thus forgive me as indeed no one can forgive sins but You.
Hadeeth: Hadrat Shadaad bin Aus
has narrated that
the beloved of Allaah, Hadrat Sayyidinaa wa Maulaanaa Muhammad
said: The best Istaghfaar is that you should say these words:"
Allaahumma anta Rabbee - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - -" Whoever recites these words
during the day time with complete certitude upon their meaning and he dies that day before
the evening, he is a man of Paradise. And if he recites these words during the night and
has complete certitude upon their meaning, and he dies before the day dawns, he is a
person of Paradise. Bukhaaree Shareef, Tarteeb Shareef Pages 59-60.
Hadeeth: Hadrat Ibn Abbaas
has narrated: We
were in the blessed presence of the beloved of Allaah, Hadrat Sayyidinaa wa Maulaanaa
Muhammad
when an old man named Qabeesah
presented
himself. The Rasoolallaah
asked him:
What has brought you here, although you are very advanced in age and your bones have been
well pounded? He replied: "O Rasoolallaah
I am very
advanced in age and my bones have been pounded and my strength has weakened and death is
close by." The beloved of Allaah,
said: "
Repeat what you have said." The old man repeated what he had said. The beloved of
Allaah
said: " Nothing surrounding you( neither any
tree, stone nor a clod of earth) is left which has not wept at what you have said; tell me
your need, your right has become waajib (well deserving)."He replied: "O
Rasoolallaah
please teach me that which will
profit me in the world as well in the Aakhirah and which is not excessive because I am a
forgetful old man." The beloved of Allaah
said: "
When you have finished your Fajr salaat, recite:
|
Transliteration: Subhaanallaahil Azeemi wa Bihamdihee wa Laa Haula wa Laa Quwwata illaa billaah
Translation: Glory be to Allaah Who is Exalted and worthy of praise and there is no power but with Allaah.
Repeat 3 times and Allaah
will save you from 4 misfortunes: leprosy, jinns,
from blindness and paralysis.
And for (your) Aakhirah recite:
Transliteration: Allaahumma hdinee min indika wa afid alayya min fadlika wanshur alayya mir Rahmatika wa anzil alayya min Barakaatika.
Translation: Dearest Allaah give me guidance from Yourself and bestow upon me Your Grace and shower upon me Your Mercy and send upon me Your Blessings. Repeat Once
The old man made a knot with his four fingers (3 for the first
recitation and 1 for the second) at which Hadrat Aboo Bakr
and Hadrat
Umar
said: How tenaciously he has made the knot with his fingers? At this the
beloved of Allaah
said: "I swear by the Essence in
Whose Power my life is, that if he (the old man) fulfills these Kalimaat (Words taught),
on the Day of Qiyaamah the 4 doors of Paradise will be opened for him, to enter through
which ever door he wants to." Ilm ul yaum walallail, Ibn Sunnee, Tarteeb
Shareef page 65-66, vol 2

VIRTUES OF PURIFICATION (Tazkiatun Nafs) Continued
At Taubatu wal Astaghfaar
My most beloved readers in the previous issue we introduced the second ingredient of Tazkiatun Nafs: Taubah and Istaghfaar. Let us proceed further with more of this essential knowledge about a subject which is vital to our purification and the only success that is of any consequence: success in the Hereafter.
What is Taubah?
Jewels of my eyes if you would kindly check our previous issue on
this subject, you will find out how Hadrat Auf bin Maalik
defined Taubah
as abandonment of a sin to which one does not go back.
Excellence of Taubah: Soorah 3 Aayah 89 |
|
Translation: Except for those that repent (even) after that and make amends: for indeed Allaah is Oft-Forgiving Most Merciful.
Command of Taubah and Istaghfaar: |
| Soorah 11 Part of Aayah 61 |
|
| Translation: It is He Who has produced you from the earth and settled you therein: then ask forgiveness of Him and turn to Him (in repentance): for my Lord is (always) near ready to answer. |
| Soorah 11 Aayah 90 |
|
| Translation: And ask forgiveness of your Lord and turn unto Him (in repentance): for my Lord is indeed full of mercy and loving-kindness." |
| After awarding forgiveness He will also increase strength! |
| Soorah 11 Aayah 52 |
|
| Translation: And, O my people! Ask forgiveness of your Lord, then turn to Him repentant; He will cause the sky to rain abundance on you and will add strength to your strength. Turn not away, guilty! |
Taubah will be the source of Success! |
| Soorah 24 Aayah 31 |
| Translation: And turn unto Allah (offer Taubah) together, O believers, in order that you may succeed. |
| Taubah turns evil deeds into good deeds! Hadeeth: Hadrat Aboo Hurairah |
|
|
|
|
|
|
| Translation:" And those who cry not out to any other god along with Allah, nor take the life which Allaah has forbidden save in (course of) justice, nor commit adultery and whoever does this shall pay the penalty (But) the Penalty on the Day of Judgment will be doubled to him and he will dwell therein in ignominy, unless he repents believes and works righteous deeds for Allaah will change the evil of such persons into good and Allaah is ever Forgiving Most Merciful And whosoever repents and does good, he verily repents toward Allaah with true repentance." |
(Hadrat Aboo Hurairah
continues): I recited the Aayah to the
woman who fell into sajdah and said: Allaah be praised Who found the way for me.
Rawaah
At Tabaraani. Another narration of Ibn Jareer mentions: The woman came out expressing
sorrow saying " Oh it is sad that this beauty was created for the fire." The
narration also has that she went looking for the beloved of Allaah,
in all the streets of Madeenah Al Munawwarah but could not find him
. When she came back the next night Hadrat Aboo Hurairah
conveyed to her
the response of the Rasoolallaah
at which she
fell down in prostration and said: " I thank Allaah Taalaa for He has shown the
road of repentance after my sinfulness." She also gave freedom to her woman slave as
well as to her (slaves) daughter and did Taubah (sought forgiveness from Allaah
).

Narration: Hadrat Aboo Hurairah
has narrated that
indeed people will be brought to Allaah
and
they would be thinking they have committed many sins. He was asked who these people would
be. He replied that these would people whose sins Allaah
would
convert into pious deeds. This is reported by Ibn Abee Haatim. Hadrat Aboo Hurairah

My beloved readers and my dear soul mates, when a
muslim deals with Allaah
with sincerity, considering a sin to be a sin and with a very heightened
sense of self awareness, keeping a keen and a close watch over his actions, turning to the
most Merciful and Compassionate Lord of forgiveness at the slightest mistakes,
disobedience and neglect and vow not to repeat the sin, he will find Him forgiving beyond
adequate description, as the above Aayahs and the Ahaadeeth conclusively
prove.
The Major Sins
My beloved soul mates, I owe you an apology. In the previous issue under this sub heading, it was mentioned that 15 major sins will be listed and only 13 were mentioned. We therefore start with number 14:
14. Lying about Allaah and His Messenger. Soorah
39 Aayah 60 " And on the Day of Qiyaamah, you (O Muhammad
will see those who told lies about Allaah (with) their faces blackened; is
there not in Hell an abode for the Haughty?"
Hadeeth: "Whoever relates a Hadeeth from me, knowing that it is false, is among the (community of) liars" Muslim.
Hadeeth: "Telling a lie about me is not like telling a lie about someone else. The one who tells a lie about me will have his abode on the Fire." Muslim
15. Running away from the battlefield. Soorah 8 Aayah 16 Translation: "O you who believe, when you meet in battle those who disbelieve, do not turn your backs on them. And whoever turns his back on them that day, unless maneuvering to battle or moving to join another company, has truly incurred the anger of Allah and his habitation will be Hell, and (how) evil a destination!"
Hadeeth: Hadrat Ibn Abbaas
said: " When
the Aayah was revealed If there are twenty steadfast ones among you, they will
overcome two hundred (Soorah 8 Aayah 65), Allaah
prescribed
to the muslims that if there were twenty of them against two hundred of the enemy, they
must not run away (but must fight). Then He revealed: Now Allaah has lightened your
burden, for He knows that there is weakness in you, So if there are one hundred steadfast
ones among you, they will overcome two hundred, and if there are one thousand among you,
they will overcome two thousand, by Allaahs permission. Truly, Allaah is with the
steadfast. (Soorah 8 Aayah 66). Thus He ordained that one hundred should not run
away from facing two hundred." Bukhaaree. To be continued InshaAllaah
Taalaa.

VIRTUES OF ACQUIRING KNOWLEDGE OF Deen ul Islaam
Warning! Acquiring knowledge of the Deen purely to
please Allaah
![]()
My beloved readers, what you are about to read is very significant for all of us who are acquiring knowledge of the Deen ul Islaam.
Some of the weapons of the Shaitaan to destroy ulamaa (scholars).
Jewels of my eyes, consider now this Hadeeth of the one who
was the most concerned about the welfare in the Hereafter of his ummah the beloved
of Allaah, Hadrat Sayyidinaa wa Maulaanaa Muhammad
:
"The one who is pleased that people would be standing in front of him, should make
his abode in Hell."
We should all seek Allaahs (
) protection
from His Anger and terrible punishment. Have you seen how serious the warning is for
desiring ones own tazeem (respect)? May we receive from the Lord of
Mercy humility and consider each and every muslim better than us, the ability to honor and
respect everyone else and not consider oneself worthy of any honor whatsoever, Ameen.
Moreover my beloved soul mates, this is the very reason for Allaah
commanding
us through His beloved
to perform Jihaadun Nafs (struggle
with the ego) the other name for Tazkiatun Nafs (purification of the lower self) so
that every possible urge from within us of seeking self importance is removed permanently.
This great humility is the shining stamp of the Khuluq ul Azeem (the greatest
character and conduct) of the beloved of Allaah
, as well as of
the great Ulamaa, the Imaams and the Auliaa (the special
friends of Allaah
).
).
Hadrat Wahb bin Munabbih, Rahmatullaah Alaih a great scholar has said: "That moment in which a person considers himself contemptible and disgraceful is better than 70 years of his Ibaadah (worship)"
Hadrat Ibraheem Adham, Rahmatullaah Alaih, a great Walee
of Allaah Taalaa, who gave up his entire kingdom to devote his life to Allaah
left his home to perform Hajj. When he reached Mekkah al Mukarramah many
people had gathered to welcome and honor him. However because of his simplicity, they did
not recognize him. He asked the people who had they collected to honor. They said: To
honor Ibraheem Adham, because he is the most pious person of our times and a great Walee
of Allaah Taalaa. He became very disturbed at his praise and told them: O
people you are misinformed about this man; Ibraheem Adham is not the name of a
pious man. He then proceeded to say the worst things about Ibraheem Adham. The
people
when they heard a Walee of Allaah being so abused, became very angry and started to beat him up, not having recognized him to be the very person they were defending! (Tadzkirat ul Auliaa).
Hadrat Maalik bin Dinaar, Rahmatullaah Alaih, another great Walee of Allaah Taalaa, said: If someone calls out at the door of the Masjid : The worst person should come out; no one will be able to come out faster than I, except if he were stronger than I. (Tambeeh ul Mughtarreen)
Jewels of my eyes, this kind of humility is the wonderful and
beautiful Sunnah of our Master, Hadrat Sayyidinaa wa Maulaanaa Muhammad
, the beloved of Allaah
who
always preferred it and has said: "Man Tawaadaa Lillaahi Faqr
Rafaahullaah." Translation: "The one who exercises humility for the
sake of Allaah
, Allaah
bestows honor upon him."
, Allaah
bestows honor upon him."
One of the signs of Takabbur (arrogance) is for a person to
get into unnecessary arguments with the Ulamaa Haqqah (truthful scholars) and
the ignorant. The use of very intricate and fine words and phrases and abstruse subjects
in front of people with the intention to impress them with ones knowledge and
scholarship is another sign of this very serious disease. Another danger to watch out for
oneself is the use of the knowledge of a very pure and clean Deen as a source of
making money, while under the illusion that one is doing a great service of the Deen ul
Islaam. This little pinch of dust from under the feet of his Shaikh (Rahmatullaah
Alaih) is not very comfortable with the use of "Sales Managers" and
"Marketing Managers" in many of our well known Islaamic Organizations and
Islaamic Books Publishers and Book Stores. This is too much like the professional Fund
Raising Organizations in this country who employ very high salaried executives who use
aggressive marketing techniques to raise funds. Forty to fifty percent of their
collections are spent on such techniques while the funds are raised for charitable
purposes. Such an approach simply does not fit into the scheme of Islaam in the
area of dissemination of the knowledge of the Deen. I may be wrong; Allaah
Taalaa and His Messenger
know best. My
most beloved and revered Shaikh, Hadrat Abu Anees Muhammad Barkat Ali,
QaddasAllaahu Taalaa Sirrahul Azeez, who is in my humble opinion,
the most significant Walee of Allaah
of this century, by the Grace of
the One and Only, Who is the Bestower of all knowledge, authored about 400 books and
publications. They were and are distributed in thousands Fee Sabeelillaah. Every
time he (Rahmatullaah Alaih) referred to himself (which is very rarely) it is
always as " A very simple and a very sinful person, who is busy trying very hard to
keep away from sins and inviting others to do the same".
Hadeeth Shareef: Hadrat Sayyidinaa wa Maulaanaa Muhammad
, the most beloved of Allaah
has said:
"The one who desired Ilm so that he could confront and compete with the
Ullamaa, fight with the ignorant and attract the attention of people to himself,
Allaah
will put him in the Hell." Tirmidzee, Ibn Maaja Hadeeth Shareef: Hadrat
Sayyidinaa wa Maulaanaa Muhammad
, the most
beloved of Allaah
has said: " That knowledge which
is for obtaining the Pleasure of Allaah
(meaning
Taleem ud Deen), if it is acquired by one so that he can obtain the riches of the
world, he will not receive the perfume of Jannah on the Day of Judgment." Ahmad, Aboo
Dawood
Hadeeth Shareef: Hadrat Abdullaah bin Masood
narrates:
"If Ahl ul Ilm(people of knowledge), protect the Ilm and keep it with
those who are deserving of it, because of this they will become the leaders of their
times. If they used the knowledge for the people of the world so that they could obtain
the world, they ( the scholars) therefore became dishonored among them." Ibn Maajah.

Sunnah and Aadaab of Eating
Hadrat Aboo Hurairah
has narrated that eating with one finger
is how the Shaitaan eats and eating with 2 fingers is the way of the rebellious people and
eating with 3 fingers is the way of the Prophets Alaihimus Salaam. Mawaahibud
Duniyyah.
Hadrat Imaam Shaafaee Rahmatullaah Alaih has said: Eating with one finger is highly dislikable and distasteful. To eat with 2 fingers is the way of arrogant people. To eat with 3 fingers is the Sunnah and to eat with more than 3 fingers is very bad. Mawaahibud Duniyyah.
Eating with knives, forks and spoons is definitely against the
Sunnah of Hadrat Sayyidinaa wa Maulaanaa Muhammad
, the most
beloved of Allaah
. Our elders desisted eating with
knives, forks and spoons as it is conclusively proven that the most beloved of Allaah
ate with 3 fingers. Once food was presented to Hadrat Maamoon ur Rasheed (
Khaleefah of the Abbaasee period), The Qaadee of those times Hadrat Imaam Aboo
Yoosuf Rahmatullaah Alaih, said: "Your Grandfather Sayyidinaa Abdullaah
ibn Abbaas
in his Tafseer of the Aayah Kareemah Walaqad Karramnaa Banee Aadama -
- - - - - has mentioned We have made fingers for them with which they eat
their food. He then rejected the spoons and ate with his fingers.
If the food is such that it cannot be eaten with fingers and also cannot be drunk, it is then permissible to use a spoon. A big piece of cooked meat or a thigh can be cut with a knife. Bread and rice(most of the time) should be eaten with three fingers. All the five fingers can also be used when it is difficult to eat with 3 fingers. Care should be taken that the fingers are not soiled up to the roots and the palms are also not soiled.
Hadeeth Shareef: Ummul Mumineen (The mother of Believers) Hadrat
Aaishah Siddeeqah
has
narrated that Hadrat Sayyidinaa wa Maulaanaa Muhammad
the most beloved of Allaah
when he came home, saw a piece of
bread. He
picked it up wiped it clean and then ate it and
said: " O Aaishah (
)
respect a good thing, because when this (bread) ran away from a nation, it never came
back."
My beloved jewels of my eyes, our elders used to be absorbed in the
love of our Master Muhammad Mustafaa
. The dunyaa
(world) and its ways had no attraction for them and the Sunnahs (ways) of
the non believers could never take them away from the ways (Sunnah) of the most
beloved of Allaah, Hadrat Muhammad Mustafaa
. Why would any
Muslim break away from the ways which even Allaah
is
enamored of and has unequivocally declared in the Holy Quraan: "Say, (O Muhammad
to mankind): If you love Allaah, follow me; Allaah will love you and
forgive you your sins. Allah is Forgiving, Merciful." until and unless either one
is an ignorant muslim or a non believer and of course in either case, does not love Allaah
and also is not interested in receiving His Love and His Salvation. The Quraanic
word "Fattabi oonee" (follow me) means to follow the Sunnah
(way of life) of the beloved of Allaah, Hadrat Muhammad
in all aspects of ones life.
Hadrat Hasan Basree, Rahmatullaah Alaih has narrated that
Hadrat Maqil bin Yasaar
was eating when a morsel slipped from his
fingers and fell down. He picked it up cleaned it and ate it. Some ignorant muslims
watched this and made signs with their eyes as if to say: what a demeaning thing he has
done by picking up fallen food and eating it! Some one who was watching this said:
"May Allaah
reward our Ameer (Hadrat Maqil
bin Yasaar
was their Ameer). These ignorant people are making eyes that you have eaten
a fallen morsel of food while you have so much other food available." He
said: " When
I have heard from my Master, Hadrat Muhammad
and have been
ordered by him to pick up a fallen morsel, clean it and eat it, and not leave it for the
Shaitaan, I will not leave ( this practice) because of the ajamees (non
Arabs)."
My beloved and devout followers of the beautiful ways of our Master Hadrat
Sayyidinaa wa Maulaanaa Muhammad
the most beloved
of Allaah
,
why feel any awkwardness and shame about the ways of the most perfect
of all human beings, sent by our Most Merciful Lord to save us from the fire of Hell and
lead us to the path to Paradise and the immense Pleasure of the Lord of Compassion? You
know my beloved readers the irony of this all? This pinch of dust from under the feet of
his Shaikh, Rahmatullaah Alaih, has seen over and over again that the very
people of this country we are trying to impress by mimicking their ways, are actually
attracted to the simplicity, naturalness and the beauty of the Sunnah of the
beloved of Allaah,
and when they accept Islaam because
of it, love and practice it to the full. They then look at the "born muslims"
some of them the so called " Ulamaa (scholars)" with 3-piece suits, their
full shaven chins and their pathetic attempts to mimic the non believers, and the muslimah
sisters with their Hijaabless coiffured heads, with shock and disbelief. They
simply cannot understand why a muslim would want to abandon such simple and wonderful ways
of the Leader of all the Messengers and miss out on the most amazingly magnificent rewards
from the Lord of the Multiverse (Aalameen). My most beloved followers of the
most beloved of Allaah, may my soul and my entire life and what it contains be
sacrificed for him, Hadrat Sayyidinaa wa Maulaanaa Muhammad
,
ponder upon the next Hadeeth Shareef: Hadrat Sayyidinaa Abdullaah bin Hizaam
narrates that
Messenger of Allaah, Hadrat Muhammad Mustafaa
has said:
" Respect the bread because it is from the blessings of the Heavens and the Earth.
The person who picks up the bread fallen from the Maaidah (sheet on which food is served)
and eats it, will receive his Maghfirah (Salvation). Tabaraanee.
A simple act but a beautiful deed. To explain further would be a crime: the Hadeeth Shareef says it all, for those who will heed, of course. Extracts from "Faidaan e Sunnat" by Hadrat Ilyaas Qaadree, Mudda zilluhoo. To be continued InshaAllaah Taalaa.

Impurity in Effect (Najaasah Hukmiyyah)
The Impurity in Effect is that state of impurity which is not visible to the eye, but which is known through the Shari'ah injunctions, for instance, the state of being without Wudu (ablutions) or Ghusl (bath) when it is enjoined and needed. This Impurity is termed Hadath in the language of the Sharl'ah. It is of two kinds: Minor Impurity (Hadath Asghar) and Major Impurity (Hadath Akbar).
Minor impurity (Hadath Asghar):
The Minor Impurity is caused by the following:
(1) Passing of urine or stool.
(2) Releasing of wind.
(3) Issue of blood or puss from any part of the body.
(4) Vomiting in mouthful.
(5) Discharge of blood (other than menstrual) from the uterus.
(6) Going to sleep with body reclined against a support.
Wudu (Partial Ablution) is the means of removing the minor impurity, or if water is not available, or its use is deemed to be harmful, Tayammum (cleaning with dust) may be resorted to. In the state of minor impurity one can neither perform prayer nor touch the Qur'aan. There is, however, a little concession for those who have to handle the Qur'aan constantly, but cannot perform Wudu time and again, and for the children who are learning to read the Qur'aan. There is, however, no harm in reciting the Qur'aan from memory.
Major Impurity (Hadath Akbar):
This is that state of impurity which is caused by sexual intercourse, or lustful discharge of semen during sleep, and menstrual and postpartum discharges. One can neither perform prayers in this state nor touch the Qur'aan, nor even recite the Qur'aan from memory, nor enter the mosque. However, if One has to enter the mosque because of necessity, one is permitted to do so. Ghusl (Major Ablution) is the only means of achieving purity from this state.

The one who lived in Bathaa |
The connection of Mekkah Al Mukarramah is
with Abtah and Bathaa is the name of a valley through which water flows.
Because the rain water from Arafaat and Minaa flowed through the city of Mekkah,
it is called the valley of Bathaa. This name has been given because Hadrat
Sayyidinaa wa Maulaanaa Muhammad
belonged to the family of Quraish which lived in the valley of Bathaa, not
outside of the Haram Shareef. His
Grandfather Abdul Muttalib used to be called Sayyidul Abtah and
Sayyidul Abaatah. Hadrat Hissaan
has
said in his
praise: He
is from an honorable family and is the Abtahee
Leader from his Grandfathers side. Abtahee Quraish are those who
lived in between the borders of Mekkah Al Mukarramah.
Hadrat Jaabir
has
narrated that at the time of the conquest of Mekkah, Hadrat Sayyidinaa wa Maulaanaa
Muhammad
had ordered Hadrat
Umar
from the valley of Bathaa to go to
Kabah and destroy the idols there, and the beloved of Allaah
did not enter the House of Kabah
till all the idols were destroyed.
Hadrat Aaishah Siddeeqah
has narrated that Hadrat Sayyidinaa wa Maulaanaa Muhammad
after performing the Hajj when he was
going to Madeenah Al Munawwarah, spent the night at the valley of Abtah so that it would
be easier to leave from there. Saheeh Bukhaaree. To be continued InshaAllaah
Taalaa.

VIRTUES OF THE KNOWLEDGE OF "ASMAA UL HUSNAA" (THE MOST BEAUTIFUL NAMES)
Extracts from the Book " The Most Beautiful Names" compiled by Hadrat Shaikh Tosun Bayrak al- Jerrahi al- Halveti
AR~ RAHEEM
He is the source of infinite mercy and beneficence, Who rewards with eternal gifts the ones who use His bounties and beneficence for the good. This is mentioned in the Qur'aan: "Wa kana bil-mu'minina Raheeman" 'He is compassionate and beneficent (only) to the believers' (33:43).
Ar-Raheem indicates beneficence toward those who have a will and
choice, and who use it according to Allaah's Will and for His pleasure. When Allaah says,
"I have created all for you . . . " that is the expression of His Rahmaaniyyah.
When we find this bounty hidden in everything, including ourselves, and use it as He wills
us, caring for it as it is left to us to do for His sake, we are rewarded with eternal
salvation. Allaah says, " . . . and I created you for Myself." This great honor
is the expression of His Raheemiyyah. Hadrat Mujahid
said,
"Rahmaan belongs to the people of this world; Raheem belongs to those of the
Hereafter." The ones who know pray: ya Rahmaan ad-dunya wa Raheem
al-akhirah"O Rahmaan of the world and Raheem of the Hereafter." Rahmaan is
mercy upon the nafs, the worldly being. Raheem is mercy upon the heart. Rahmaan gives
sustenance in this world. Raheem gives eternal salvation in the Hereafter.
The manifestation of Rahameeyyah in the believers occurs as thankfulness to Allaah, who gives all, and also as the ability to be compassionate, caring and giving, which He also gives us. Absence of pride in being instrumental in doing good deeds, and realization that He is the Creator of the ones in need as well as the satisfaction of their needs, in extending Allaah's beneficence upon those who need itall this reflects Rahmaaniyyah.
If you should encounter difficulties, unthankfulness and resentment, you should bear it for Allaah's sake, because you will receive your reward here and tenfold in the Hereafter. Do not show off your good deeds, especially to their recipients. Be thankful to them; if their conditions did not exist, your compassion and generosity could not be exercised.
As for the recipients of compassion and care, they should be thankful to their benefactors and remember them well at all times, because "The one who cannot be thankful to man cannot be thankful to Allaah." But they should not make gods out of their benefactors, becoming their servants instead of Allaah's servants. They should know that good comes only from Allaah; but the tool that He has chosen is a beautiful tool, worthy of respect.
The ones who find the taste of Allaah's attributes of Rahmaan and Raheem in their beings, and come close to their Creator through them, cannot have doubt and sadness in their hearts. They know that whatever happens, Allaah, ar-Rahmaan, ar-Raheem, will have mercy upon them, save them, and reward them. On the other hand, the ones who think that Allaah's compassion, mercy and beneficence which appear in them are their own qualities, becoming arrogant, are bound to become of the doubters. That doubt, in extreme cases, may push man to take his own life.
